The process

From the first conversation to the return home

  1. We begin with a complimentary consultation to understand travel style, interests, and requirements.

More time, should you want it, is a Design Session — by the hour, before The Atelier.

  2. When the fit is clear, a service agreement and a non-refundable, non-transferable planning fee start the design. The fee pays for time and expertise.

  3. The itinerary is curated from how you actually travel — pace, and the shape of the days. We refine it with you until it is yours. Deposits then hold the reservations. Final documents arrive before departure, so the journey can be lived, not assembled.

  4. We stay with the journey while you are in it. When you come home, we look at what to keep, what to change, and what you see ahead.

The Architecture

We do not sell destinations. We design how the days feel and create environments and atmospheres shaped around your vision. The fees below pay for time and expertise.

All professional fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Discovery

20 minutes · complimentary

A first conversation. Twenty minutes of undivided time, complimentary, to talk through what you have in mind.

Design Sessions

$350 per hour · one hour minimum

More time in conversation, after Discovery. One hour minimum. It is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it does not apply to The Atelier.

The Atelier

The planning fee is collected before design begins. It is the time spent designing a bespoke itinerary, and the work that makes every part of it meet so the days feel seamless. It is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it does not apply toward the trip.

Within 60 days, +$400. Within 30 days, or holiday travel (15 December–5 January, requested after 1 June), +$750.

Group Travel

Atelier fees begin at $1,500 and are quoted for the travelers who commission the itinerary. Extended and multi-country journeys are quoted from $3,500+. When additional guests join an itinerary already designed, the fee begins at $750 per person.

Commissions from hotels and operators do not increase what you pay the property. The fee is for my time. Virtuoso amenities (breakfast for two, upgrade when available, a $100+ credit, early/late where offered) typically add several hundred dollars of value per stay.

Households who travel with us several times a year may ask about The Private Atelier: $4,800 a year. Founding year, $3,900 for the first ten.
